Privacy Policy

When you use the builder, you provide your name, email address, phone number, location, work history, education, skills, optional links, and any job description you add for tailoring.

We use this information to generate your resume draft, show you the preview, support refinement, process payment for the draft you unlock, email your private resume link after payment, and export the final PDF.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or unrelated marketing.

• OpenRouter processes resume input to route generation to an underlying AI model.
• Vercel hosts the application and supplies an estimated country for regional pricing. We do not send your IP address to a separate location lookup service for pricing.
• Resend processes your email address and private recovery link when sending a requested service email. The resume PDF is not attached to that email.
• Polar handles payment processing. We do not store your card details.

Your browser stores working data in session storage to keep the client responsive. We also store draft, checkout, and export state on the server to support recovery and payment-safe flow handling.

Unpaid access lasts 24 hours from draft creation. Paid access lasts 14 days from payment confirmation. After expiry, scheduled daily cleanup removes the source, generated resumes, evidence, revisions, generation records, private access tokens and saved recovery-email payloads from our active database. Email retry records include the recipient and private recovery URL and follow the same draft deadline.

Cleanup also removes resume content and contact details from checkout snapshots. Minimal checkout identifiers, payment status, and the price quote may remain within the existing 14-day checkout window for support. Payment exceptions retain only transaction references, amounts and review status while unresolved, then for 30 days after resolution. They do not retain your resume or email. Payment providers retain their own transaction records under their policies. Files you download and copies held in your browser are under your control.

We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. A private ownership cookie protects each saved draft; the server stores its hash. After payment, resume_paid_access provides continuity for the unlocked draft. These functional cookies are not used for advertising or behavioral tracking and do not extend draft access deadlines.

The resume is built from the information you provide and the refinement instructions you give. You should review it carefully before sending it to any employer.

Your data is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used for profiling.
